Is it possible to biuld a vehichle out of wood

If you do a Google image search for "wooden car" you will see many. But a search for "wooden truck" or "wooden tractor" gets mostly toys.

Howard Hughes made an airplane from wood. Remember the "Spruce Goose"? So I bet it is possible but maybe not very practicle or safe with todays standards.

Side bar: The Spruce Goose was something of a lame duck. However, the DeHaviland Mosquito (known as "The Wooden Wonder" in WWII) was a highly successful multi-mission aircraft that had an extreemly small radar cross section. Since nobody was buying pianos and metals were scarce during the blitz, there were lots of highly skilled woodworkers available and plenty of available material to build it with. It was also one of the most graceful looking planes of the war:

They are actually wood framed cabs on metal chassis. Either way absolutley no protection.
