Poll: Your satisfaction with your HST transmission

My first new tractor was a L3130HST put 400hrs. on it.Traded for a L4240 HST+ and I just turned 400hrs. on it.I snow-plow,roto-till,bottom plow,bush-hog and box blade.Would rate the HST a 9.7 and the HST+ at 9.9.Wouldn't own another geared tractor.And yes no problems.

Bought my tc40da hst for loader work. for what I bought the tractor for 10. Overall what I use it for 9. Will be buying a gear 90hp for field work in the future.

I don't know how to count that. Can you boil your rating down to a single number as far as satisfaction with the HST?

Up thru the two HST tractors nybirdman rated in his post #91, I count 52 total ratings with an average rating of 9.22

no tractor will be rated a 10 in the real world.i rate my a 9.5 on everything,the HST is a lifesaver for my left leg in everything that the tractor does.my right foot gets a good workout as i rarely use the cruise control.

Satisfaction 100% with HST. Would never go back to gear (unless I went back into farming and was working large fields).
Can't imagine anyone who is using a CUT and has HST would even think about switching back. But for those who don't have HST, then likely they will remain happy with the gears.
Was the same agreement/disagreement with switching from shift trucks/cars to auto tranny.

yes you can get those high hp tractors with some sort of HST in them.i would farm with them if they fit my needs.i think fendt makes those high hp tractors or MF.
