Yep! It sounded to me like the Dallas Observer reporter liked to hear themselves speak and look for an excuse to drop the "F-bomb" in the middle of the piece. The reporters pour on the hype and then make fun of the people who show up there. I think they speak with forked tongue, Kemo Sabe.

My oldest brother would have been able to eat free there. He was close to 400 lb when he passed away at age 71. He was confined to a wheelchair (HEAVY duty) and died from complications of intestinal strangulation.

Well, I remember that Karen made some vegetarian chili when we first got together there on the bridge project and it was AWESOME! I didn't miss the meat at all.

Bird and Ron, I don't think you were there for that get-together. It was the one where Harvey stuck Lucy up to the axles and Don had to get his cousin with a dozer to pull him out. It was a real lesson in the difference between what a tractor and a dozer can do. Don's Kubota couldn't budge the truck, but the dozer made it look like child's play.:thumbsup:

We have had several of Karen's and now Don's meals. They are very tasty. :licking:
Betty tried to make a salad that we had at their house last January. Did not come out the way Karen's did. Need some cooking classes.

Thanks Don. As long as I have changed my diet it just makes sense to do one that helps me get better instead of getting worse more slowly.

While some people might think that the diet is really radical and extreme, I think that getting cut in half, and getting my leg cut open and then pulling veins out of my leg and sewing them to my heart for a bypass.....well who wouldn't consider that radical and extreme.
A plant based diet looks better all the time.

When you have heart disease, having a wife that can cook so you don't miss meat is priceless. I guess she want to keep me around awhile. :thumbsup:

A queso that meets the diet requirements and taste sinfully good!!!!

I couldn't believe I found this made in Austin Texas cheese tasting, good queso with no fat or dairy and only 10 (ten) calories per serving and only 160 caleries in the whole 16oz jar. Nacho Mom's :thumbsup::thumbsup:
