Yep, I knew as soon as I got there and there were several guys hanging around the tractor during the entire estate sale. They started the auction at 10am and didn't get to the implements until after 2pm. I waited to see where this unit would sell at, but I didn't think I would get it for what I wanted to pay.When it reached 17500, I grabbed my chairs and was heading out and the auctioneer was trying to get 20k, so I stopped to see the fool that would bid that high. Obviously, they didn't get 20k, but it blew me away that they would even reach that high.

I'm looking to buy as soon as I can find the right deal. Need a 60-70 hp tractor with loader. If you see something for sell that would be in that price range (10-14k) could you let me know? I don't have a problem going to Louisiana to buy.

go to proxibid and look up brinkley auctions they are in oklahoma and there auction is this thursday and they will sell about 400 tractors u can always find a good deal there

i was just up there today and they had about 300-350 tractors on the lot with lots expected in before thursday

I've been browsing their previous auction archives, looks like they have lots of goodies comin' through there. Won't be able to make the Thursday auction in Ok though, too bad. Will be looking at that as a good possibility in the near future if nothing else locally comes through.

I did find a tractor locally that I'm going to look at Sunday. It is an '84 Ford 6610 w/Bush Hog Loader, 2wd, ROPS (no canopy top), rear wheel weights, 3350 hrs, and the seller says it is in good condition and has good rubber and paint. He is asking $12,900, what do you think?

The 5610 sounds interesting, would not mind having the MFWD at all. You are not all that far away, maybe 2 hours drive. Let me know about both of them, Thanks

edit: actually you are near Cleburne and Keene, right? That would be a 4 hour drive, still not too bad.
