My Bobcat RG48 grapple finally came in last week, so I picked it up Saturday from my dealer. Hooked it up on Sunday and took some pictures. I haven't had time to use it yet, but I am certainly looking forward to putting it to work!

looks nice;)

I like it much better than the markham/gator grapple- by looking at yours it looks built a lot stronger.

Very nice, both the tractor and the grapple. Should work very well:thumbsup:

Now I gotta add that to the list.

Post pictures again when you use it.

According to the specifications, it weighs in at 379 lbs. When I was wrestling it out of the bed of my truck, I swore it weighed a ton!

My thoughts too. What is the dimension at full open from tip to tip on the tines?

I measured it fully open and its about 29" from the top of the lower tines to the bottom of the upper tines.

That's about the same as the Markham/Gator 48", for anyone who is curious. The solid back will solve some problems (the lack of staying put on some QA like Kubota's, is the primary issue it solves), but it does cut down on visibility. Would have been nice if they put expanded metal or a grate in the center section to see through. Looks like a solid unit. You can't beat a grapple for a lot of work with brush and trees.
