Heck, I'm a little concerned about some of the new 'High Pressure' hand dryers in restrooms. I was always taught that if the pressure is high enough to dimple the skin...........the air can enter the bloodstream.

And to HarryVanderpool, I'm a truck driver. I'm trying not to take offense at your comment. It's hard, but just remember several things.

1) If you own it...........it was on a truck.

2) It's guy like me, that give up their homelife, to see that you have the things that you need to survive in this world.

I leave my house on Sunday between noon and 2 pm................I usually don't see my house again until Friday somwhere between noon and midnight.

Without trucks, and truck drivers..............you literally wouldn't have a pot to pee in!

I think it was an innocent comment that truckers are facing rising costs to stay in business. Nothing negative about truckers, more of a show of support.

Whenever a Butt or certain other body parts are involved someone is gonna make a joke about it. Who can forget lorena Bobbit  every man's nightmare!! Not really funny, but we all joked about it.

As stated earlier, compressed air is very effective at separating the hide from the carcass.

I'll do that when skinning a deer or hog. Saves a lot.

You could be right, and I overreacted. For that I apologize.

As to the second part of your comment, I had a pair of cast iron briefs fabricated for the two nights that I'm home every week:thumbsup::thumbsup:

No kidding. I was working as a machinist in a small manufacturing plant about 22 years ago. We were not supposed to use air guns to clean oil and shavings from our hands or clothes but only from the machines. Nevertheless it was kind of tolerated. One day a guy shot some shavings from his hand and apparently one of them penetrated skin on his hand allowing air to enter and his hand just exploded crippling him for long time if not for rest of his life.

My old boss would slaughter a lamb or goat once in awhile and use air pressure to separate the skin, those things would blow up like a balloon, was pretty grotesque.

I actually use that technique for skinning coyotes ... works well

Thanks for the reminder. We are all oh so tempted with the ease of using that air gun to blow the trash etc. off ourselves, never considering the danger.

I still do it everyday, just try to be careful.

And I have the old style guns that don't have the safety relief holes on the side.

I had a job after school doing odds and ends at a machine shop. The old timer co owner told me he would ream my butt, if he caught me cleaning the bridgeport with the air hose again. didn't know how bad that would be till he showed me a large reamer
