For 1-acre and a 125' driveway, get yourself a good tracked snow-blower, like the Honda 11/32, and a ZTR for your lawn. The Honda is a lil bulldozer-in-disguise, and a snow-cannon to boot. Starts first pull, even on the coldest days. My 135' driveway is very steep, and that tracked Honda handles it without a hiccup. Eats the end-of-driveway snowbank like it's nothing. Whenever it senses a heavy load, it sorta kicks into "passing gear", and tosses snow even farther. (40-50 ft)
A BX class machine would be complete overkill on your lawn IMO, as would the GR-series tractors for that matter. I tested a GR-2110 yesterday, on my very steeply sloped 2/3 acre lot. The tractor climbed some of the 30-42 degree slopes with ease (blew me away actually), but once the tractor was sitting on the flat part of my lawn with that big 54" deck, I realized it was complete and utter overkill. Don't get me wrong; the tractor itself was a superb machine, and built like a tank. I absolutely loved it, but the reality is, it's the wrong machine for the job.
BTW, I too had been considering a BX-series tractor, because I was worried that a GR-series "might not be enough tractor". Boy, was I wrong. I'm totally reassessing my needs at the moment, and re-starting from scratch.
I'm in south-western Quebec btw, and we average 10.5 feet annual snowfall.
