There is is only a 200.00 difference between 2000 and 2000B,The rest is a price increase
to compensate for the falling dollar

I have talked to you on the phone about tillers before, but anyway, i wish i had bought from you to support the US market of refurb, but i didnt i stayed in sc and closer to home. I have made out fine with my VN tractor though, but could have had one of yours, but almost 2 yrs later whats the diff i guess.

Anyway am i correct about your price i saw on CL i searched real quick and did not see the same thing advertised.

Like most, I'll chime in, even though I have been away from the forum since I purchased the tractor. (I left for awhile because of the growing negativity.)

I came to this forum over a year ago for information. I read, read until my eyes hurt, and then ended up buying from LMTC. I didn't get a great deal on the tractor, but I did get a great deal on a finish mower, blade, tiller, delivery, and a warranty and support.

I had several significant problems in the first couple of months. Wayne not only helped with diagnosis, he backed up his warranty with free parts. I learned alot about the tractor and all I supplied was tools and labor. All in all, I still paid more with everything considered, but to me it was worth it.

Now, if I was to buy a second tractor, I would consider a non-USTA unit after a serious pat-down. $2000 is a lot of money, which happened to be the difference in price the first time around.

I can turn a wrench, and everyone should expect to turn a wrench when buying a 35 year old tractor.

glad to see you back, although i dont remember you? Oh well. Im glad your happy with your purchase and dealer, dealer support is key. My VN dealer helped me with my problems both on the phone and when i showed up, did not just brush me to the side, which i think a lot of them do which is the main problem.

Let me get this straight That high price tractor and warrenty he preached about does not include labor, but just free parts and scanned pages from the book!!

Not picking faves (among dealers) but i thought the US refurbishers included labor in their warrenty not just parts like the VN ones do!!

Spalding tractors who has posted in this topic includes parts and all labor in his fully stocked shop on site! I cant imagine paying the higher price and not getting labor included in that warrenty!

Im not trying to get this thing riled up again, this is just not how i thought the US warrenties worked?

Ernie if your still reading what does your warrenty include?

I think the labor part of the warranty is only good if you live within driving distance and can take the tractor to the dealer. According to his profile, MrChz is in MO, and i know LMTC (Wayne) is near me in Ohio. Although I didn't buy a tractor from Wayne, I do believe he includes labor in his warranty -- Note that Wayne is taking a break from selling tractors due to a family crisis.

Hate to hear that he has a "crisis" dont wish those on anyone. I dont see how one could turn off the labor warrenty part of a warrenty. Seemed like if on wanted to haul the tractor to him regardless of where they live they should work on it. Let the guy from Tn or Mo or wherever decide weather its worth i to haul and back haul for something vs sendingh him the part per his request.

Just went to his site LmTC and he said that this is it for tractors, he will just sell parts and accessories. He said its due to age and health.

Not saying it isnt but i wonder is the VN drove him out of the biz? NOt saying it did im just speculating on what i read from him before he left about each year being harder with the VN underselling him.

Wayne if you still read this would you just fill us in i dont care if you stay around or not i and others are just curious im sure. Anybody else know the deal?

I also just read his site and he is now selling his expertise for $50/hr no matter what method you choose of contact. Apparently this will include info about the capability and tasks for the tractor not any repair advice. I guess he will chare you to ask if a certain bushhog will fit your tractor? I have no idea what that would mean?
