Just got it unloaded off the trailer an hour or so ago. It's been sittin' at the boat harbor in Seward for a couple of days - got seagull **** all over it!

Shipper didn't bother to call until my dealer started rattlin' his cage!
It's a big 'en..!! Makes my JD 110TLB seem like an ATV!
Cab is very quiet; and warm - yes! :dance1: Reverser is smooth - and I only hit the right foot brake 3-4 times reaching for the reverse eHydro pedal! :confused2:
I'll post some pics in a few days - gotta get it washed and cleaned up a bit.

Stopped at the landfill and got weighed before coming home - 22,500lbs - that's 500lbs over the truck's GVWR. (Ever hear of anybody getting fined for 500lbs? Kinda curious - don't really know.) Had to drop the rear blade and the bucket off onto my buddy's trailer; I woulda been nearly 2,500lbs over if I hadn't!)

Congrats! Glad to hear it. Look forward to the pictures!

They're comin'... (pics) I cleaned up the bird poop today. Man, it just streaks down everything! I'd like to give 'em a reason to **** --- 12 gauge and No. 4 shot!

I'm trying to finish one of my pole barns and get goin' on a greenhouse/high tunnel - 35'x60'.

No shortage of projects around this place!

Want/need to go thru my baler and mower, too. Everything was good when I put 'em to bed last fall - but need to be sure.

Oh yah, new carb and air cleaner on the 9N, too. Gotta make sure it'll be ready to rake and maybe run the tedder with it.

You're saying with all that waiting time you still have stuff that is preventing you from posting some pics? Don't wan't to hear excuses just post some pics.:licking:

That's quite a machine AK. Remind us again, this was in the ball park price wise of a 4720 cabbed unit with all the extra's?

Boy it does make the 110TLB look small. Must be the angle, front tires look set REALLY wide!

Winter in Alaska comes real early, why wish for it sooner? I am Sure you have a lot to do before it hits.

It was surprising how close the price was... the final price for the tractor, blade, shipping insurance - the whole enchilida - was $61,900. IIRC, the "tricked out" 4720 I wanted was in the neighborhood of $54K - all inclusive - blade, shipping, etc.

The blade was $3K and shipping was $3.5K.

Of course, when I finally decided that the M was a better direction to pursue - I started adding options.

Like the SL loader with 3rd function and those fancy QD connectors. And, I upgraded to the Deluxe cab with air seat. Buddy seat, extra lights, rear wiper/washer, front wt. bracket, front wheel spacers, 4-95lb wheel wts., brake lights, EH hitch with rear controls (very nice), horn, power reverser with modulator, tank shields, 3pt. quick hitch, ballast box, 84" HD materials bucket, SS QA attachment on FEL, AM/FM radio.

Long story - short. If you're looking at a 4000-5000 series machine; you can get into a M series for not alot of additional money.

Standard cab, 553 or standard 563 FEL, standard hitch, shuttle tranny, no wheel wts, etc., etc. the price can drop by $4,000 or maybe $5,000 real fast!! You still have the advantage of the more capable hydraulic system, more HD 3pt system, and much heaver rear transaxle than the 5000E models, too.
