Looking good

What is that clevis hitch, is that a stock item or custom made ?

I don't have anything underneath to slide a draw bar in.

JB,

That was the stock item. my owner's manual shows it just like that. there is ni cavity in there to slide a draw bar in or out, it can be a pivot point. I use a hitch pin and hook a chain there to drag stuff.

JC,

yep, 4 bolts and the differential drain is right in the middle of it with it's own drain bolt.

last report:D:D I'm done. No interference, tried with my heavy brush hog. Even at the highest lift still there is 2" clearance all the way around. Final height is about 83" about the same as a TC-30. I have have 5" of play either side of 83" as well.

Looks good. Did you shorten the pipes? Looks shorter. Mounting bracket appears made from Ford.

The size of the new channel and hole spacing actually lowered it by few inches. Did not shorten the pipes. It was a 10' stick of pipe cut in half. while I was at it made one extra hole on top and bottom of the uprights on each side to give me some latitude to raise and lower + or - 4 inches. The bracket is just painted Ford Blue. It's all American design and manufacturing:D:D

JC,

Looks good. You will no doubt appreciate the canopy, hope you never need it's roll over protection.

Ever work after dark? Now you have a good place to mount aux work lights :)

That makes two of us as far as roll over buddy:) . I need to work on the seat belt and other factory options like you suggested. Have not had a need to work at night. I reckon when I build there I might be needing to snow plow like you do at night. it was extremely hot and sunny in Kansas today and the shade my canopy gave was certainly appreciated. I sure needed to mount a water jug on the upright for just today. I was out there for about 2 hrs and I drank about 4 thermoses of ice water.

last update.

I had a box to the ROPS to put chains and stuff and done with the seat belt. I wish I had a retractable seat belt but adjustment how I have it still pretty easy.

JC,

Chain box made out of 2x6 and some plywood.
