Everyone is welcome here no matter what they drive. I have red, orange, green and gray tractors. I am not dead yet, so who knows what I may wind up with next. There is even a blue tractor on Craigslist, I had to talk myself out of buying.

Hey Radium where are you in NY? I'm in Rockland county. I see you have a 3PH snowblower. How do you like it? I was thinking about getting one myself, just worried about the obvious problem of always having to look back. Do you have a rear mounted camera system? I have a Kubota B26 and don't have the option of getting a front mounted blower or I would. If it wasn't for the fact that it's a 2010 with only 30 hrs on it, I would consider trading it in for a B3030 and be done with it, but I'm sure I would get hit hard on the trade in. Anyway I am looking for some positive reasurance with the rear mounted blower. Do you have any? BE HONEST! Thanks and nice video.

Thanks for the comment I should've recorded in the morning with the first pass. I can give you an honest answer after owning both front and rear snowblowers my dealer loves me , I had a front mount snow blower on my TC 40 DA for about four years loved it hydrostatic transmission. Unfortunately the tractor just wasn't big enough and I really wanted a cab. So I said goodbye to my front snowblower and traded up to a bigger tractor with no mid-PTO my dealer insisted that I would love a rear snowblower, Other options included an inverted snowblower which lets just say after watching my neighbor I'll never buy one ;-) and of course Erskine front mounting system quite expensive. The simple truth no it's not easier than driving forward I have a camera and my LCD screen is mounted to my visor, however you naturally always want to turn around I even have two large mirrors on the side of the cab and I still want to turn around and look. My biggest fear is one of the neighbor kids playing around behind me or even someone's dog that openings is almost 4 foot tall by 7 foot wide gives me nightmares. like anything you will get used to it and there are times where it is beneficial like clearing the end of the road no dealing with traffic and if you have drifts you can always lift it higher. One other important thing make sure you have enough gear selections to move slow enough in reverse I have 12 forward and 12 reverse gears so I can always find the right speed. The choice is yours I sacrificed the front blower for a larger frame tractor with cab and I'm more than satisfied when it's 15 Fahrenheit and the wind is blowing take care

This is my first Kubota and also my first diesel engine. I read a few older threads about synthetic oils voiding Kubota warranties. I highly doubt that is still true today, but I would like to get some of your opinions along with my dealers before making a decision. Also, if I did use synthetic, would I extend the time between oil changes? What to do, and when to do it?

It does not void your warranty, currently from their web site it says.

"Kubota recommends oil with an API rating of CF or higher. If the synthetic oil meets those standards, it can be used in Kubota engines."

I know I will be changing over to Amsoil as soon as my warranty expires. It might be a little more expensive but I do trust their product more than others.

This goes back to the old recommends does not mean mandates. But I agree, why wait. I used Amsoil from hours 0001 on my BX24. Same with all my auto engines, high pressure washer etc.

So the rings might take a little while longer to seat. UOA show they are mint. YMMV

The only thing I would do is let factory oil run it's course. JUST IN CASE a specific weight, type or additive is used at the factory intended for the purposes of break in. It certainly won't hurt to let it run it's course and could be really important.

Why wait until warranty expires?

I don't want any flack from them just in case something does happen. It's one of those goofy things that I think. I will change over to Wix filters as long as they have them for my tractor.

My decision to purchase a Kubota tractor was based on the reliability of the Kubota 2 cyl motor that is in my Carrier APU (an APU is an auxilary power unit, it gives me power, air conditioning and heat when the truck is not running to avoid idleing). I am a long haul trucker and have 6971 hours on this APU using 5w40 synthetic oil no matter the brand as long as it is on sale and diesel motor rated.

I also use synthetic oils in all my small motors such as ATV, lawnmower, generator, snowblower, anything that doesnt use too much oil like my truck that takes 44 quarts and have never had an oil related problem.

I do use synthetic blend in my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 260k on the odometer and not one problem, and using full synthetic in the wifes Chrysler 300C.

P.S. I also use Slick 50 and wonder if that contributes to longevity since my last Jeep had 350k on the odometer when a retired guy bought it and was driving it back and fourth from Northern Michigan to Florida till he hit a deer and totaled it, but was still running great. Dont know what the mileage was at that time.
