Thanks for the info. So, you'd rather see one go down to about 12"? How often do you need it at the full 20"? I ask because our protoype is fully functional but a little on the short side. We may need to change it to be useful to a wider range of tractors. Still too early to tell though. We're working on it.
No, just the opposite. On my previous BX tractor, I had a hydraulic top link that ranged from 13.5" - 19.5" and found that I often could use an extra inch or two for box blade or york rake work. I about never used the 13.5" - 15.5" range on the top link except for when I was transporting an implement and wanted to pull it in closer to the tractor. I think 14"-20" or even 15"-22" would be ideal for a BX, but that's my opinion.
