Well no need to be sorry. You saved me at least $100.00 because with a good feedback k would have paid $500.00. I am glad you responded now. Thanks so much.

Coooool :cool2: You will be very happy with it. Are you going to clean it up any, or just use it as is? One suggestion, if by chance you have trouble pulling the lever to roll the box, you might need to straighten the lever out some so that you are pulling it towards you instead of having to pull it down. I had this problem with my larger roll-over. ;)

Thank you so much. I have been watching but was unsure if I wanted a roll over blade. I tried buying a straight box blade, but none of the dealers had any in stock. I found a 8 foot boxblade but I was afraid it would have been to big for my tractor. I have 337 acers and will use it to maintain my trails. I did not want it sticking out past the tires. This is a Bush Hog RO 65 which is 65", but the entire blade comes out to about edge of my back tires.

I have a Mahindra 4035. I think it will work out about perfect.
When it was first listed the guy wanted $500.00. I ended up getting it for $350.00 I think I did okay on it. It works perfect.
I don't think I will clean it up much, but it will be kept inside. Perhaps at one point I will give it some paint. I liked your idea of straightening the handle. Perhaps I will weld a straight extension onto the handle. I can get it disengage, but I have to stretch!!!!
The only thing I don't like is you can't move material with the scarifiers engaged, but I knew that before I bought it.
I made a quick pass in the woods with it and it dug in much, much better than my backblade. I think I will be happy with it.
Thanks for reviews!!!!

...but you can get the scarifiers to dig much deeper than with a box blade. Also, using the rippers with the box blade, it fills up the box pretty quickly. $350 is a very good price for that unit.

Thank you so much for the kind reply!! I lamented for awhile before I made the decision to buy. I read on here almost daily and enjoy the wealth of information that is available.

I sold my JD 240 skidloader with only 260 hours to buy the tractor. I tossed that decision around for almost a year thinking I would miss the skidloader. Boy I don't miss it for a second. The backblade grades my roads so much faster than the front bucket on the skidloader ever did and I was surgical with the front bucket on the skidloader. I put my dock and boats in and out with the tractor AND it does not tear up the yard. I have almost 40 hours on it in a month and a half.

I have a Woods B 9000 backhoe off my skidloader to mount on it, but I am waiting for Woods to come out with a sub-frame kit for my Mahindra. My dealer talked to the Woods engineer and my dealer assured my one is being developed. I will be glad to get the backhoe on it!!!

With my Gannon roll-overs, the rippers can go in the ground 10". I think that you have to go to hydraulic actuated rippers on a std box to be able to go much deeper than 3-5". I know that a lot of guys tilt their boxes forward to get the rippers to go in deeper, but when they do that they have changed the optimum angle of the rippers and therefore have reduced the efficiency of the rippers and greatly increase the power required to pull them through the ground. ;)

hydro2, now all you need is a top and tilt kit for your 4035 and you will have a grading wonder. Only $555 + shipping. ;)

That is actually cheaper than I thought it would be. Once I get the rear plumbed that may be an option

Once again thank you all for the replies.
