Has anybody on TBN ever used a B-Kubota w/o loaded tires?

B7800 with unloaded R4's. Only time I ever think about loading them is plowing snow and occasionally mowing. I'd like a little extra traction starting uphill and would like the extra weight and lowered center of gravity for cross-hill.

Have a 2320 without loaded tires. When using the FEL I just attach the boxblade.

My 1720 had loaded turf tires but the rims rotted and now need repair. Currently i have my non filled aggs on and miss the additional ballast especially when mowing. I need to use 4x4 more often because of the reduced traction w/o the tires filled.
My primary 3pt attachment other than the mower is a set of pallet forks and when doing fel work I carry approx 1000~1500lbs for stability and it also reduces the need for 4 wheel drive.
When using the fel in 4x4 and doing alot of manuvering, tight turns can wind up the driveline and put extreme loads on the gearing. I'm constantly putting mine in and out of 4x4 to prevent un-necessary loads that can potentally break something very, very expensive!!!
As stated in other discussions rear ballast also takes a lot of load and stress off the front end when loading the bucket and carrying it.

B7610 no loaded tires, but always have a 65gal water barrel on the back, or now don't take off my box blade when doing FEL work and I've moved A LOT of dirt over the last year with it....

One more without loaded tires: B7500 with turf tires, 8 years, 1300 hours, mostly mowing - but some loader work and snow moving with rear blade. Never wished that these tires were loaded.

I used a friends B7800 before I got mine. His did not have loaded tires. Since I do mostly loader work I got mine filled. He came out and drove mine after I got it and noticed a big difference. Boils down to usage I guess.

My BX 2200 did not have loaded tires. The primary use for that tractor was finish mowing, and I did not want the extra weight. I did use 300lbs. of weight on a 3ph weight bar when I plowed snow and did FEL work.

As I had a ZTR when I bought my B 2620, I knew the majority of work would FEL and bush hogging-so I had the tires loaded with WW fluid, and I'm glad I did.

Thanks for all replies. Will try 'em unloaded. I need seat time. Told dealer who was prepping a bunch of tractors June 30 when I signed that I was the one customer who wasn't in a mad rush for delivery & of course now going crazy waiting but not gonna call to say 'when?'

Been around machines some, just my first tractor purchase & will be careful.
