Anyone know if there is a filter or something that needs cleaned on the AC system of a Kioti tractor?? My AC keeps freezing up and stops blowing cold air. How can someone clean out the water drains on these AC unit.? it seems to dain in more than just the designed drain tube so it seems like it might be stoped up somehow

Thats typically a sign that you are running low on freon. I would check for leaks.

Lack of charge is a typical cause of evaporator coils freezing up, but as you mentioned it can be restricted airflow as well, make sure it is clean. Check any filters. While its functioning correctly check the compressor cycle times, if its short cycling, another indicator of a low charge. If you have guages give it a looksie. Refrigerant dye and a uv light will help u spot a leak if its low for no reason, but at that point you might as well take it to a shop and have it properly evacuated/recharged anyways.

Check to see if the compressor stays engaged all of the time. It should cycle with the engine running and the system on. Not sure if your system has a relay or not, but if it does and the compressor doesn't cycle, the relay may be stuck. If it is low on freon, it won't get cold enough to freeze. The compressor will short cycle.

There's a filter for the ac under the fiberglass top. I have had mine up a few times. It's a pain because you have to lift it up just enough to get in there and undo the light connectors, before you can do anything. It is best to have a helper but I can do it alone since I've done it before. Anyway once you have the bolts out and the wires loose you can prop up the front. Now you can vacuum out the crud that collects up there and check the drains. Its very interesting how everything is crammed up there. Also a good time to install the Alpine and JL speakers. Have fun.

Not true,
Taken from Hvachelpdesk.com and personal experience with leaking units.

Lack of refrigerant or a low refrigerant charge is also a symptom of a frozen evaporator coil.* Contact your local HVAC contractor to charge and conduct a refrigerant leak test.

Ive had 2 home units completely ice over due to low charge, one was old, one had a leak on a heat pump.

Well i didnt get it in to see a shop yet but i did open up the top and check for drain blockages and found that the drain tube was kinked up and over the small air filter as it leave the drain pan and air box. I removed the filter so i could staghten out the drain tube and a bunch of held back water started draining out so there was definatly water no getting out of the cooling chamber... so then i put it all back together and turned the AC back on and it has a strong airstreem comming out of the vents now and it verry cold, so it might be fixed ill know after i go on a 2 hour bush hogging this week. one other thing i noticed in the 5 or 6 minuits i was testing the AC i noticed my compressor stayed engaged and didnt seem to cut on and off the way i would have thought it would. so it might still have a problem.
