But I couldn't help to post it anyways. Just like to show what I picked up today.
Anyone want to guess what I got it for?

This is the first 3pt PTO item I've ever used, so I'm learning here. From my understanding, the PTO shaft is suppose to be somewhere between fully compressed and fully extended.
The way it's setup right now, the PTO shaft would be fully compress when connected to the 3pt. The snowblower has an adjustable hitch and I still have one more notch to extend. Hopefully this will be enough slack for the shaft.

I'm not sure if this is factory or the PO did this but it has wheels instead of skid shoes. Don't even see a spot for shoes so maybe an older model?
Also need to upgrade the wheels since they are pretty beatup. I actually like the wheel idea as right now I have a mostly gravel driveway.

The wheels are for moving the blower when it's not hooked up to your 3ph, not for blowing snow. You need skid shoes for blowing.

you can get used blowers for around scrap price around here.

It's cute but way too small for me. I run a Lucknow 80" twin auger.

You don't want a "solid" drive shaft between the implement and your tractor's PTO stubshaft. If the drive shaft halves are bottomed out while the blower is on the ground, you'll have to trim the sliding shafts (on the PTO drive shaft) before you lift it with the 3PH. The distance between the tractor's PTO stubshaft and the blower's gearbox will decrease a bit as it's lifted.
If you remove the drive shaft (from the blower) and rig the blower to the tractor's 3PH, you can lift it until the shortest distance between the tractor's PTO stubshaft and the blower's gearbox is determined (figure about half way up the 3PH travel). Then you can actually measure that distance and trim the PTO drive shaft accordingly.

Given the heat index will hover near the century mark all week long, even to the Canadian border, it's never too early to talk about this....

Grating cheese?
After our last winter I wish I had one of those!
I'll assume you got a good deal?

awesome! lets see, you got it for 200 bucks? free?

If you are planning to replace the wheels, you could consider the swivel wheels like they have on bush hogs so no matter how you turn, it wont drag the wheels.

If the one extra notch still bottoms out the pto shaft when lowered, think about adding a quick hitch or pats easy change. This will give you an extra space in pto shaft without cutting.

Grating cheese?
No, I'm pretty sure he got it for blowing snow... but it might double as a Cheese Grater since he is in the cheese capital.

:) :D (that was funny, at least to me...)

The other way to joke with it.... $50? $52 if it's really good shape... Nice find.
