Espeicially after I just got in from a SW Fla(not mine) 3000+ acre field,in 98 degree heat and 70 % humidity.

I dunno....have you ever heard the notion that living inside a house with four walls is tantamount to being on a drug? That is, you are isolated from those things that might stir your senses, like wind, sun, noises, etc. I feel that way about tractor cabs. I love being on my tractor in the outdoors. When it's too hot, I go inside the house.

Gotta plan your work, Bro...start early (crack of dawn) and knock off for a few hours during the afternoon, then start again when the heat breaks for the day.
A broadbrim hat (better yet, a wetted down pith helmet), white tee shirt (better to reflect the heat and absorb sweat) and a lot of water.

I'm assuming your tractor has a canopy?

When I told trailbuilder that I said it tongue/cheek.Do all good advise you posted above except don't have canopy rite now cause I store my little L3400 in my 2 car garage.
Nothing like comfort espiecially if your working w/equipment daily for a living however we know on occasion theres tight places/barns,trees etc you could'nt get a cab tractor in.
BTW: Thanks for calling me "BRO" made me feel good coming from a man of your high moral standards.
Also Mr.Roy with that heat in yer vest you don't need a cab model in winter.

I guess I'd have to say my favorite feature is the starter! I started my old tractor for years with a crank handle. It got the job done but the starter tractors come with now-a-days don't kick you on your &*--#$%, if it kicks back!

My front-loader. That is what I use most. Next would be the 4-wheel drive. Need that for the loader work.

What I DIS-like the most is the dad-blasted diaphram clutch :confused2::drool:

This year even more than usual I have to say it's the cab. Temperatures have been comfortable enough but with the rain there is water laying everywhere and the mosquitos are fierce. If not for the cab I'd wouldn't be sure if I was drowning in rainwater or bug repellant.
