Geez my head is spinning! I may do better with something like the 4005, kinda oldschool but a real bargain. For the money it looks great at this point. I could always trade it later if I feel I need a cab or more tractor or a cab down the road. What can this machine be had for new?

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'm gonna look into all options. I just talked to my realtor and my house may be worth a little more than I was thinking so it may work out for a small cab tractor possibly. What are the 4520 with cab and power reverser going for??

Nevermind, looks like a cab requires ehydro tranny

Nothing wrong with the ehydro tranny, nothing wrong with the power reverser tranny either. You need to try out both types with an open mind.

Thanks for all the help guys, I've pretty well narrowed down my choices from the good suggestions here. Since I'm keeping the little hydro kubota for tight spots and and small jobs I'm gonna go for the heavier tractor with my next purchase. I do have some plans for down the road that will require more ground engaging so I'd rather a gear tranny either regular shuttle or hyd shuttle. The heavier loader will come in handy too. I'm leaning 5055e, or M5140 open station. Any guidelines on what's good prices for these machines is appreciated! At this point I probably will wait till my house is sold before I strap on any more notes but I will keep everyone updated and share pictures when I get it home!

Well I've changed my mind a half dozen times but I keep coming back to these machines. I sat on a m5040 yesterday and a m5140 cab, and they were real nice. I'm hoping the 5040 will still be there when I'm ready to buy! The paint was oxidized some so it may be a real deal on it if no one beats me to it! I still like these green ones too though! :) Thanks for the price info, that will help a ton when the time comes!
