I don't have a video but my Grand L3940's 3PH goes up & down exactly as smoothly as yours. No difference.

You see that is exactly what we all think happened Bep. that he got a Grand L valve put in his tractor for free so they could close the deal, we are not going to get that, as we didn't buy it that way. And yes Jokergerm, you have the smoothest operating L3800 3PH on this planet. (at least that we know about) until someone else comes up here and shows us another one. Mine looks just like Chilly807's video. Exactly.

Can you see the valve? Looking at my 4240 from the rear I can sort of see it. Maybe we can rule out or confirm if it's a GL valve or not.

The valve body mounts on top of the rear axle housing and is a very unique shape. I seriously doubt that you could have a different looking body with the same internal valve parts.
