Progress. Now let's find someone else with and L3800 and a smooth hitch to corroborate...
I don't recall hearing about jerky L4400's either but always figured it was more to do with the cylinder size.
If all those part numbers are accurate then one might consider that an admission from Kubota that they have a performance problem and a good faith effort to fix it. My valve part number is pre to those and still an upgrade. Maybe the fix is finally here.
Yes and notice the "old" valve part number previously used in L3400 is now used in Mx5100
YR908-104 - used in MX5100
This lends some credence to the "adjustment" angle of this. Jeez. if it was this easy would not Kubota just issue a bulletin and dealers would be fixing this problem all day long? This is hard to understand.. yes need more input. more from Mx5100 and L4400 owners. And what are we to make of Messicks statements. Geez. there are thousands of posts. on this here. I will assure anyone who would listen that the video Chilly807 posted is exactly the way my 2010 L3400HST operates Exactly. I dont own a box blade, nor heaven forbid a boom pole. but the boom pole for sure would be a total wash out. No real problem using my mower just overshoot to where you want it and feather down and the position control keeps it there. The ballast is either up or down. no problem. Come on MX5100 and L4400 owners, help us figure this out. The more stats we can gather, the closer we can come to understanding this.. And could someone near Seattle go and find this Jerry the mechanic guy, and get his butt up on line? and take the stand and start spilling his guts.
