You have what kids these day call "mad skillz"

BTW, when will the stack kit for my L3940 be ready? :D

 Ya they got there own way of talking these days. One of the delivery kids that come to the shop from NAPA Auto parts said the other day mine is his favorite shop to come to because everything he see's here is sick. I told him that didn't sound right then he said believe me, that's cool

You come on up with the tractor, be here by this weekend and you'll be going home with the conversion installed

The older series of Grand L's had a kit to go to a stack, I don't think it was offered on the 30 series like mine.

Yep...Bad is good; Sick is good. For a short time when I was a kid, saying something was "Stud" was the equivalent of cool.

I tolerate "sweet" for cool; but I think the term "Cool beans" is stupid.

Isn't soot eventually going to get on the cab? I'm not trying to be a downer here but a $2.00 bag of rags takes care of the soot problem. It's a freaking tractor for Pete's sake...do you allow dirt to get on it?

Pauls tractors are not just tractors they are works of art. He is like some one who customizes cars only he does tractors. I would love to see him do a custom car. Great job as always Paul. I will be looking for further mods.

Bill

Well Bill thank you very much for your kind words. As some of you will know my tractor is only used for snow clearing but when it snows here you get plenty of it but it's only for a short time then it's over. 80% of my snow clearing last winter was done in 6 weeks so that gives me plenty of time to make what I feel are improvements to the tractor and along with other items I think I can improve on in or around the shop. If everyone had the attitude of the poster who said it was "Only a tractor" all of us would still be on steam operated machines with no cabs,AC, ....and they are things I really enjoy :D

That being said, Bill I have customized many cars, military Jeeps and memorabilia and my next big project that will start this coming winter will be to build a rod so stay tuned. Thanks again for your kind words.

For those who haven't seen the custom stuff I've done you can see some of it here: Other than re-plating, everything was done here at my shop by me and yes I like clean, even tractors

For those of you that was reading the start of my thread you'll notice that I mentioned I couldn't get the right sharp bends on my bender. Well this week I called the manufacturer and they knew the problem right away. The pressure adjustment had backed off on one of the main cylinders and it took about 10 seconds to correct it.

Seeing I had the bender working like it should have to begin with it was time to head back to the drawing board and ditch the flexible tubing and "do it right" this time. Here's the changes I've done to the connecting pipe. As you can see I used two cool quick connectors and dumped the muffler clamp. I also made a support bracket for the pipe and I feel it looks far more "Factory" like than before. Now I'm calling this custom retrofit completed. Hope it helps some of you out.
