Um, your drawbar doesn't just slide forward and lock into position there without sawing on it??? My JD will slide up almost flush and lock in that position or stick way out where I can make reasonably sharp turns pulling a wagon. A short drawbar rules that out.

I don't understand cutting the drawbar ... why did you do that?

It is a two postion drawbar. In the stock 'far forward' position...it is still sticking out too far in the rear. I could have drilled another hole near the center, and made it a three postion drawbar..but then it would be sticking out too far in the front. I do not need a long adjustable drawbar, I do not pull PTO driven implements with my drawbar, only need it to hang a clevis on it to hook chains onto once and awhile. So, my tractor, my decision, wack...... Now I can leave the clevis on the drawbar while using the PTO for three point stuff and nothing hits... [ hey, it made sense to me.... :) ]

Makes sense to me too. I wrecked the PTO shield on my brush hog last year when cresting a steep driveway. The shield rubbed completely through on the drawbar (with no clevis on it). I'm lucky I didn't damage the shaft. That was on my L275. The Kioti drawbar is fine as long as I don't leave the clevis on. I guess I should paint it that brilliant red as a reminder. It's very flashy.

I just painted a couple of tool carriers I recently added to the Kioti (using flat black). But it got me to thinking I should paint some of my tools a bright colour. I often find myself hunting for my green log lifter, or a chain, or shovel, etc., after I carefully set them near tree or shrub where I'm sure it will be easy to find. I am going to paint the chain hooks and some other tools bright orange.

I also like what you did with the wiring through the firewall.
