My 99 Ram 3500 with 25' Gooseneck and 5200 Ford after some Tornado clean-up in April in the county that we live in.

Finally got a pic of my new to me set-up. 2005 3500 cummins SRW airbags, 6spd and two chips stacked with a 20+5 Moritz 14.5K with the edjustable tail, 12K winch and a John Deere 5083E. The brushhog just won't fit on there. It might be overloaded with the 10 footer anyways!

I put my loader bucket on top of the gooseneck. That way I have room for the backhoe on my 20 foot trailer.

Brandi, I was sorta against that idea but I think Im going to lay some wood down and try it. Im still in the not scratching the paint mode yet. I need to get a little bit more weight forward and I really do not want to turn the tractor around unless I have to. Ill let you know how it works out!

I understand. Right now my spare tire is up there and I set the bucket on it. A lotta cushion, but I don't like that as the spare is just held on with one lug nut and it flexes when I set the bucket on it. I have been meaning to relocated the spare down to the front basket in front of the floor. Then add wood for the bucket to set on.

Nice setup!
How are hill starts with a load like that and a clutch?
I've wondered how well the clutch holds up in a truck towing that much on a regular basis.

Thanks for the compliment. Well first I have to confess that my clutch is by no means stock so I can only tell you about my experience. I have a South Bend Dual Disk 3600 in her right now. The stock clutch was gone before I even bought the truck used. It had an old lever style clutch that gave up the ghost about 35K miles ago. The SB DD has been in there ever since. Even pulling out on flat ground the clutch has so little play between IN and OUT that I have to take care in feather it a little bit. She groans and squeals a little bit but no issues so far!:thumbsup: I'll be sure to let everyone know when it finally blows apart or I sell the truck!

My tow reg, Tacoma Sport and MF1635' backhoe, 5ft. box scraper. I hauled this 125 miles through Nova Scotia with no problem, Tacoma handled the weight very well using a weight distribution hitch, max tire pressure.
