Preventing tractor back flip

The reaction to the drawbar load is trying rotate the tractor about the rear axle in the direction of pushing down on the front axle.
The torque from the engine, acting thru the rear axle is trying to rotare the tractor about the rear axle in the opposite direction.
Traction & amount of each force will determine if the tractor stays on the ground and digs the rears in, flips backwards, or stalls.

See the simplified diagram below.

If "A" moves forward, "E" will rise.

Not if "F," the rock, moves too. (I hope that's a rock.)

Wouldnt "F" need to be moving the same speed as "A" to keep "E"down

Something gotta give!!!!!

But Im gonna say Wheelie unless you loss traction(to original post)........

Maybe y'all should ask all the people who have died doing the same thing!

I thought I could find a video example of an actual flip, but can't so far. However, check this tractor pull video out; Note that the tractor is pulling a wheelie the whole time. Certainly they pull from below the center of rotation, yet still get the front wheels off the ground: ‪NTPA Tractor Pull - Jefferson City, MO‬‏ - YouTube

Well.. you proved me wrong... I notice the front only raises at the start of the pull but finally falls to earth at the end of the run. Are the connections to the sled slack? I wonder if the tractors are using a run to get the sled moving and then keep it moving?
