6.7 is a 2003 f350?????

We bought a new '88 F-Super Duty that had a 7.3 idi diesel and 5 speed manual trans. You could only get a 5.13 axle ratio with the diesel. If you had a 460 gas engine you got the 4.88 ratio. The F-Super Duty was a new model that later became the F-450. Had a solid front axle like an F-650.

who said I wanted to get rid of it?? I want to get a daily driver.. which the f450 ain't.

and my dodge daily driver is slowly giving up the ghost, and isn't worth repairing any more. Any repair that costs as much as a battery will be worth more than the truck is...

thus I'm keeping my eye out for a replacement. I like the 450 so muh that a 350 is sounding like a reasonable replacement.. plus gives me a backup good towing truck, with an engine I will be able to trucst, and be a bit familiar with.

That makes sense. I didn't think about your daily driver needing to be replaced. Then when you mentioned that you were looking for a dually, I was thinking that maybe you were looking to replace your F450. Sorry for the confusion and good luck with your search.

yep, it's the 5w40 ultra blue.. spendy but worth it.

forget the name of the PSF.. but it's the same as the tranny fluid.. also a full syn setup. my mechanic ordered it from napa, same as the syn gear oil.

believe it's all valvoline stuff.

yp, the f450 is decently low milage. lives in a covered barn.. gets washed each time I take it out, and gets waxed every now and then.. vacumed out alot.. has no trash in it, and the interior gets the armor all and whatnot.. has a good coconut smell chip in it... excelent condition for a 99.. my daily driver on the other hand is the opposite of all that

her suspension is getting weak, and so is engine. not even real good to pull7k trailer down the interstate. strains and downshifs alot on hills even in tow mode.. gets spnogy if i weight trailer wrong.. thus new daily driver will be a heavier truck than an old half ton.
