I did. That piece of the drill press was just barely under 2k. I needed all of the purchase I could get.

Great tractor. My wife and I love hers. How did it handle the weight and are your tires loaded? That's right at the limits for the 16LA FEL. I am looking at putting a hay grapple on mine that will weigh 1200# - 1500# loaded but will stick out 6'-8' from the QA plate.
It handled it very well, but the load is fairly close in. The tires are not loaded, but it was quite well planted and moved around fine without engaging 4wd, even on grass. Moving my 6' rhino mower with the loader makes the rear wheels really light w/o counterweight.
When the drill base was lifted it just touched the grill guard. So there really was very little lever arm to worry about.

I also have a TC40 which has done all that I have thrown at it but what happened to the bent up and dangling FEL metal hydraulic pipe and hose running under and parallel to the torque bar? It should be anchored alongside the other one in the photo (which is also bent). I can understand some possible trauma to the two upper pipes and hoses but not really to the two under the torque bar. If their purpose is the same as mine, the bent ones control the FEL lift cylinders and obviously you are using the lift in the photos so they aren't cracked or broken-just seems like a weird place for damage.

It is from pushing large (1 car garage sized) piles of brush. Occasionally branches catch funny. The lower hood trim piece has also received some minor battle scars. The tractor vacations with me in North Western Michigan. We go logging for a week or two every year.
I have replaced those lines twice and new ones are on order. This time though I am going to fab up a new guard. :thumbsup: I have not had any actual failures though.
