Would you go from a B3030 to a B3200?

Different story though if I had TripleRs land and money.

Well, I dunno how much money you have now, but your signature line reads as though you've converted a lot of the money you had to tractors, implement & automobiles  And I am not saying that's a bad thing!!!

That's right. That's why I don't have any money but I do have good credit.:D

What costs the most, trading to a different tractor or getting an FEL for your existing tractor. Don't forget the hydraulic control valves if you don't have them on the 3030...

Can't speak for the others but if I was happy with what I have now I would look at the attachment Vs new unknown...

The short answer for me is no. Add the FEL to the B3030. It is unbelievably usefull. But why would I stick with the B3030:
1. B3030 has position control vs 1/4" valve on the 3200. The position control valve will hold an implement at whatever height you set it. The 1/4" valve will let it drift down until it is on the ground. A big pain when using a brush hog. A minor inconvience when working with other implements.
2. B3200 has turnbuckles to adjust width of 3 pt hitch arms. These are a pain to adjust and when you don't have an implent on, the arms sag to the middle making it harder to line up to hook up an implement and an irritant when using the draw bar to pull a trailer. I bought the telescopic stabilizers for mine after bending the second bolt on the turnbuckles.
3. B3030 has the extendable links minimizing the need to use a quick attach.
4. B3030 has better PTO system.
5. B3200 has had complaints of excessive vibration of the engine when operating at PTO RPM which is what leonz is referencing. B3030 owners have not posted similar complaints despite the basicly same engine. I would at minimum drive one with the RPM up near 2800 and see how the vibration on it compares to your B3030.

I'm not sure if you did but have you considered looking at the B3300SU? If I was upgrading I would at-least get something a little bigger, it wouldn't be much but it is an upgrade none the less.

Don't forget the B3200 has a much nicer loader control than the B3030 which is part of the loader upright. Also the b3200 loader is a little narrower which makes for a more compact unit.:D

Go drive one and see how you like it. Test driving is the only way to know.:D

Now, John, you're not being fair, I bought a brand new tractor just last year.:licking:

I take a "fair and balanced" approach to tractors, I buy new and used; bought one new and one used last year. Now you being an old guy and somewhat set in your ways, I can understand your reluctance to change and diversify, see the "world view/big picture" and all, but for us younger folks things are different.:laughing:

I take a little different approach. I buy Used but put in New parts.

Boy, we have done plenty of that. My brother and I bought a Ford 841 and worked on it as well as a Case 995, Ford NAA and Case back hoe. The back hoe had to have new bull gears and lots of stuff. I would go in every once in a while to see it lying all over the place and then one day it was up and running.

The tractor I use the most is a 2003 GL5030 I bought used, but I haven't had to do anything but maintenance on it since it only has 1200 hours on it.

I was in my late fifties before I owned my first new "tractor" and that was a BX2200.

For those of you that don't know, TripleR is my seperated at birth twin that was shipped to Missouri while I got to stay in Gods Country.
I to bought my first new, or old for that matter, tractor 8 years ago and it to was a BX2200 FEL MMM. I'm just barely 64 now so that would have been in my late fifties. I think we both worked for and retired from Gvmnt service. I'm still working some and I think he's probably just laying back and watching his kids work.:D
I to have put new parts in an old Kubota. I put new oil, new grease, new oil filter and new hyd filter plus one qt of SUDT to fill the filter in my old (June 2010) F3080 yesterday that now has 52 hours on it. It is now up and running but almost empty in the fuel tank. I also drained and replaced (with new 80-140 Mystic gear oil) the gear oil in the front deck mower and greased it with new grease.
See, we're just alike except he has more money and land than me.:)
