I just bought a 15kw 3 pt gen set with cradle and shaft for 1200$,,, delivered at ruralking.com,,,',run it off my B2920. They have them in stock,,

This one has a variable power adjustment box and an hour meter and digital output meter,,,I got a lot more than I expected for $1200 and15kw

The cheapest prices on the Generac Standby Home Units, that I've found, are at International Tool.

Also, if you have the correct Square D Load Center, Square D has a cheap and dirty " manual Gen Transfer Kit". More info. page 13 of Square D Residential Catalog.

Also, Square D has a kit for the QOM1 main breaker.

Tmajor- Thanks a ton. Square D has it figured out. I wouldn't buy anything else and sleep well at night. What a low cost ingenious option to a manaul transfer switch.:thumbsup:
