John Deere D110
I was looking at the mulching blade they put on my D110 and I think it is backward. Can they put it on backwards? If I rotate the bade to be by the discharge shoot location, should the blade be pointing to the back of the mower or the front. I think it should be pointing to the back as it should rotate clockwise if I am looking down from the seat.

I believe you have it right. The blade rotates clockwise looking down on it from the seat, and the sharp edge leads the cut. Here is the mulch blade.
Is that how yours are mounted?

Viewing from the top you should be able to see the leading edge bevel and what is sometimes called the wing will be turned up.
