I picked up the 3720 today left at 6 am for the dealer about 2 hours east just outside of London. The tractor is really nice and I am really happy with it. I do notice that the turf tires are inside the fenders this is my only complaint. I will be ordering weel extenders and wheel weights. If it cost a few more dollars thats the breaks I want to feel confident in the tractor. Love the horse power - great. Here is some pictures of my morning :D

You can reverse those rear wheels and get about 2.5" (per side) more width.
You'll want that extra clearance if you intend to use tire chains.

Really nice tractor --- now the fun begins.

I also got the red wheel spacers from ebay for my 3720 but from Skid Steer Solutions and they work perfectly. I painted them JD yellow prior to mounting them and hard to tell they are on the hubs. I installed one per side which gives 4" more overall width. Greatly reduces the pucker factor on the hills.

Is that a radio antenna on the right front corner of the cab? My 2007 model has the antenna built into the cab roof enclosure and reception is not the greatest.

Good luck with your new 3720 tractor.

My quess is the empty tire and rim, w/o load, is about 250lbs. Takes two men and a boy and you hope the boy survives. Handling tractor tires is scary and dangerous business. SAFETY FIRST. ---Fuseboxer

Oh, they're heavy OK...no disagreement there. This is a two man job and, if the wheel/tires gets away from you, let it fall!!

My rears are 41-14-20 turfs. They appear to be bigger then the turfs on DP Property's 3720.

Man, you do not mess around, less than a month from shopping to buying. I like your style; I have taken over two-years to decide on a major purchase.

Edit - Nevermind, I see that was last years post. :)

From my experience of owning a 3720 open-platform there is not allot you can find wrong with this tractor. It has a long history as far as CUTS go and the 37 model is loaded and very powerful. It is also the last of the breed that will not have to be Tier 4 certified which is still a new variable. My tractor has right at 700-hours on it, starts every time and seems to run all day on a couple gallons of Diesel. Congratulations!

Hey Beltzington I was looking last year but in Canada the prices were so out of a hand I was just dreaming. so I bought a 850D gator instead and convinced myself it was a must have to go back and weed wack along all the fences after rough cutting with the kubuta 7510. This year when the dollar went up I got a quote from a different dealer a few hours away. The price for the same machine but loaded with everything was about 8 thousand dollars cheaper then this same time last year. So with 0 percent for 5 years I decided to pay off the gator and take the dive :)

Thanks Roy I am going to my friends shop in the morning to get help and safely flip the tires. I have been reading all your past posts on this.

Going in the morning to a shop to have help with this 2.5 per side is more then I thought I would get that is great news. I don't know why the factory would not set it up like that in the first place?

Yes it is an antenna and the reception seems good, but the antenna is cheap and I can see the cheap hardware on this getting broken in the winter from freezing - will see what happens.
Do you install the wheel spacers on all 4 wheels or just the rear wheels?
I also notice a small sliver of the cab roof seal sticking down from the top right outer corner of the roof. I touched it lightly and it ripped off as a little sliver. I sure hope that seal thing does not become an issue? as far as I know the factory installed the radio.

Ballast box.

Did you guys just fill your ballast box with cement or bags of sand? In the winter I like to throw a couple of bags of salt in my box on the kubota but I am thinking of filling the Deere one with cement?
