I am a retired fireman, now a full time farmer in North West Oregon. Our operation produces hay, beef, hazlenuts and cherries. We own and operate a portable sawmill and manage approximately 20 acres of timber, mostly Douglas Fir, some red cedar, white oak, ash and western broad leaf maple.

I ran across this forum after pulling an old clod masher out of an equipment archive area and after noting the name, Dunham Colti-Packer. Merely for general interest I posted this equipment name on the Internet to see what was available on this machinery. The first site to show information on it was TractorByNet.com. I am presently here to find out some information and history on the Dunham Colti-Packer.

I searched the past POSTS and THREADS on TBN, and the only result was the inquiry that you made in regards to the Dunham Colti-Packer. Hope you have better luck. I tried. Good Luck.

I finally found it. The THREAD on TBN was started by DARGO on March 2004. The way I found it was I Googled it and then I hit the TBN relation and the entire thread appeared.Maybe the search I initiated only goes back so far on TBN or the spelling is wrong. I don't know. Hope this helps. Maybe someone out there can help you in an advanced way. Good luck.

You'll get a lot more interest in the Attachment forum (gets more traffic vs. the new member introduction forum). Post it with a good title and also, post a photo of it and you should be able to get plenty of information about it... If you need help with the photo, just ask...

Thank you all for your advice! This is a totally new forum to me so I will need to get up to speed. I followed the lead suggested by, I believe it was, creekbend and sourced Google. In the process I located a bunch of used Dunham Colti-Packer equipment and it does appear Dunham has teamed up with LEHR and they are manufacturing new equipment under the DUNHAM LEHR name.
I found out everything I need to know at this point and am making some repairs and fabricating a new tongue system for my old unit. It is actually in very good shape with the exception of the tongue. I would like it to be larger, it is only 10' wide, but a few more hours in the shop and the new tongue will put the old packer unit back in the field.

Thanks much for the ideas and suggestions.
