Hi Guys. I'm the proud owner of a B7800 for the last 4 years, and its worked fantastic. I'd like to get a second tractor to utilize the attachments better (I'm getting tired of unbolting and bolting on subframes spring and fall, removing the deck to take the tractor in the field etc.) I'm currently looking at a used B7610, B7410 and a B7500. I am amazed at the price these used tractors are being sold for. Did the price rise a couple of thousand bucks in the last few years, or am I just getting cheap? What are you guys seeing these machines go for...anyone got one for sale??

I bought a B7800 new four years ago also. What kind of sub frames are you changing out in the spring and fall?

I bought a used B2781 front mount blower which came with a subframe. The subframe bolted to the front of the tractor perfectly. The two arms which extended about halfway back the tractor didn't line up to the tractor mount points, so I had to modify the brackets. The whole system works quite well, but is a pain to change. I noticed the subframes on the new tractors on the lot are alot shorter. They look like they come off easier as well. Any experience with these?

After mounting the blower for the winter don't you leave it on until the snow is gone?

I kind of thought that this was where you were going. Even with a factory blower mount set up changing back and forth from a loader to a blower is more hassle than its worth from what I have read. I have a loader but not a blower. If a blower was a quick change I would consider one. If I have to pick one over the other the loader is what I prefer to leave mounted for snow all winter.

Yes, prices have gone up for these highly collectible antiques :) When I bought my '07 w/FEL in '09 off CL I figure I paid about $7.5K for it, (I also got the almost new trailer, and a BB for a package price of $11.5K). Now it seems the same tractor (and same model year) is being priced at $10K and up at Tractorhouse and ebay. This spring one of my sons wanted a similar B7610 and the lowest CL price I could find was about $9K.

If you Google B7610 you'll can find what the new package prices on the old B7610 were, about $13K. Now I spec out a B2320 similarly equipped to my B7610 and list is about $17K so I figure a bargain would be $15K.

I think one of the reasons prices are rising is that as the population ages fewer of us want to use wheelbarrows :)
