Mowing round pond - best way?

Each and every pond is different. I have a two acre pond with firm banks and I use the finishing mower and get as close as possible and then I found that if you have a good weed eater with shoulder harness is the trick. When I say good weed eater I have an easy start echo (in my opinion none better) It is one quick mowing weed eater. This works for me and I have a bad back and 75 years of age.

If you have the older style zama carb on them you can open up the exhaust a tad and retune those things into lightweight weed destroyers, a lot of the landscapers around here use them.
