BX25 SkidPlate Choices

Are there any skidplates available for the BX25? I think it will be high
on my "to do " list when I get one since I will not be buying a mower. Additionally the front steering cylinders look like a possible place to smash as well, whereas a good skid there might be invaluable as well, ehh?

Feel free to school me, I am complete newb w/ tractors. I have decided that the BX25 is my choice.

PS. What the heck does MMM mean? Middle Machine Mower?

Yes, Bro-Tek makes skid plates for the BX-25.

MMM= Mid Mount Mower

+1 on the Bro-Tek; don't know of anyone else who makes them and I think they also make a thumb for the BX25.

Bro Tek also makes a steering cylinder guard. Highly recommend the skid plates to avoid damage to your hydraulic oil filter and the infamous plastic cooling fan mounted on the drive shaft.

I have a BX25 which was purchased a year ago last March. It has a skid plate installed at the factory that is better than those on previous BXs I've owned. Buy your tractor first and see what you think concerning adequate bottom protection before spending more money. I've elected to remain with the Kubota provided plate and spend my money on more tractors.
