These are fantastic looking. Great inspiration for what I hope to be building in 6 months!
How about some tips, do's a don'ts. What kind of electrical service do you have to your shops? Is 100 amp enough? I'd like to think I learn to weld in the future.
I definitely will be pouring a concrete pad, does anyone use in-floor heating?
What features do you wish you installed at the beginning? I'm considering putting a bathroom in, maybe a kitchenette for cooking out, etc.

Definitely a bathroom, I think 100 amp would be sufficient for a good sized shop. I don't know about a kitchen but a clean room could be used for a coffee maker and fridge, microwave etc. Well I guess that is a kitchenette.
What size shop are you planning?

I kinda wondered about that but could not see the cable going to just one side of that door. Plus his other door has an electric opener.

That's a decent size, but design it so you can have shed roofs/carports off the sides and back. not everything has to go inside, but alot of things are happier under a roof. It will keep the inside from getting filled up, and leave you more space to work on things.

Also, it doesn't matter how large you make it... as it will ALWAYS be too small.
I started with a 30x40. Outgrew that and added a 10 x 40 overhang.
Outgrew that. Built a new 30 x 60 shop. and added a 10x20 overhang. Starting to outgrow this.
