New boxes on the porch! Love it. I know this is off topic, but as a wood worker, I am curious about this new planer knife grinder? FWIW, I have the Makita wet grinder, which I am happy with over many year's use.

Had a little anxiety attack first thing this morning:laughing:, thought I had a DOA machine! Took a minute or two to figure out this machine doesn't like the arc force all the way up to +10. The power acted like it was pulsing. Changed back and forth from crisp to soft arc, then started playing with the arc force.

First picture is the hot pass with some 1/8 inch 6010 on 2 1/2 inch pipe 5-G. The second picture is the cap. Don't blame the machine, I'm not a pipe weldor!:ashamed:

Looks like a real nice versatile machine! Are you planning on using it for mig mostly?

I generally only use Mig for big projects, like when I built my gooseneck adapter for my flatbed trailer.

Now that's pretty slick! I guess it comes off to still use the bumper hitch?
I have an old tandem axle trailer with a really overbuilt frame but only 3500# axles. I've been trying to figure how to get better use out of it and I may just turn it to a gooseneck and bob the tail. I got to quit reading all these threads, my project list is getting too big!

Yes it's bolted on. Can't remember if I used 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch A-325 bolts. 3 bolts per side.

Acording to his post on welding web, it was DOA.

Well only part of it is DOA! It works great for SMAW, and got it to weld on CV with my LN-25, but the spool gun is DOA. Don't know yet if it's the spool gun or spool gun module, or maybe just bad cables. The repair tech said he doesn't think it's the welder its self, said these Invertecs are pretty much bulletproof. The bad part is the repair center is back logged 6-weeks minimum!:smiley_aafz:
