This is great. Would love to know what it cost for materials. If I built this it my wife may make it into my bedroom. Very nice.

We had to take down an old small building and did some sitework so that cost some money... The building is small 18X20 because I had limited space in that area...
On small buildings it's all about proportions that make it pleasing to the eye...
The building was put up 8 or 10 years ago and at the time the total came to about 23K.
These are the guys who built it... Also I added a few more pics.

I agree it was expensive.... but like I said we had to take down another building and do some sitework... that was about 5K of the price... two 30 yrd dumpsters came to $1500.
Also I had it built... I didn't build it myself so that is more money and post and beam cost more than stick building...... Foundations aren't cheap up here... 4 ft deep...
Finally when you have a nearly 300 yr old house you can't put up a steel building where you get high Sqft for the price...

we built this for 34,000 a few years ago, incl all cept elect (im an electrician). its 30x60 plus 10x20 lean to. lots of windows, 2 roll up doors and 1 sliding door, 1 man door.
That's a really nice shop.....

Lots of nice shops being shown. Especially nice when one doesn't have one or is dreaming of something a little nicer.
Since this is an older thread and fact I didn't go through all the posts, hope this isn't a dup post.
We moved this past yr and one of the extras that helped sway our decision was the shop. WAY nicer than what I had at the old place.
The shop is 30 x 60 with (2) bays bumped out to 40' deep. Wired for 200A service. Internally the (2) bays on the left are separated from the other bays. There is a large sliding door inside for passage between the 2 bays on the left and the rest of the shop. There is a full bath and setup for an RV, power, water, sewer. Floor is concrete being 6" thick for the 2 bays and 4" thick for the remainder.
Still haven't gotten things arranged as I would like. When we bought, insurance appraised the building @ $100k. When we purchased, the wife told me there was also a house on the property.
In the one pic you can see the other extra that helped sway the decision.

Maybe I missed it, but could I ask what is you sidewall height? Roof pitch? Lean-to distance from side of building to inside of post?
What you have on your building there seem to be perfect proportions...I recently got a quote on a 30x40 with a 12x40 lean to and if it came out proportioned like yours, that would be great!
