Used M7040

I am looking at a used 2006 Kubota M7040 over the internet and am curious if there is some place on the net that shows the specs of a 2006 or what has changed in the model since then. I have researched the 7040 but everything i have seen is for the current production model which may or may not be what is on the 2006.

Are there any issues with the M7040 tractors? I have seen a couple of post talking about a hydralic issue but am not sure if it was an isolated case or a model problem.

Any thoughts or comments?

If he doesn't show up, check with Builder as he has a 7040 he bought used and uses commercially.

I believe these are pre 09 specs here (different than current production), best I could find when I got my used 6040 last week. Scroll down, the 6040 and 7040 are at the bottom.

They are very consistant with specs from 06 to current!

Art, the newer models (not sure what year the switch was, I believe 08 or 09) are heavier than the first ones. I want to say around 800 lbs heavier. Also slight hp gains. You are right, mostly the same though.

I doubt that the new M7040 is 800 lbs heavier than the 2006 model, but I could be wrong. Do you know what they changed to add 800 lbs? I believe that Kubota did add a turbo to the newer models, primarily to meet emissions requirements.

The kubota with a cab m6040 went from 4650 to 5450lbs. I dont know about the 7040.

I sent them an online email via their Contact Us page on their website, it says that it can take up to 7 days to respond but it only took 1 day.
