Just like gun safes, when you buy one buy larger than you think you'll need.

Are you going to open up the side and somehow connect roofs?

Great trick putting the scaffold in the bed of the pickup truck! I have the same style scaffolding, I'm going to remember that trick. Very nice job, it all came out great.

I will tie in the two roofs first, both roofs overhang each other allowing me to frame up between the two roofs purlings, then add the galvalume metal and J channel. I have not decided yet to take the whole wall out or put in a roll up door on that side. The plan is to tie the two buildings together. I made two mistakes on the first building....1st is eaves not tall enough and 2nd is building not big enough.......Mike

I bought the pole barn kit, it was going to be difficult for me to install the steel trusses by myself so I hired the labor part of it out. I'm sure its not osha approved how they did it but it sure beats taking the scaffolding down....moving and resetting it back up.....they used a ratchet strap around the scaffold and truck bed.....and be careful the trucks shocks/suspension does allow a little sway.

I usually have the wife drive the tractor and I stand in the FEL, but she's not real familiar with using it so the ride up and down is pretty invigorating. I like the scaffold idea because you can easy walk up and down the rungs if you need something, and you can move it yourself.

I noticed the strap, I think I might run a strap out to the ground someplace to get a little better angle, still easy to take it off when you want to move it.
