On Sunday I ordered a hydraulic top link for my JD 4100 and it shipped today(monday). Awesome! Their price was great. Hope the link works out. Anyone use this one before? HYDRAULIC TOP LINK CATEGORY 1 - Agri Supply
Fast shipping is one thing that always makes me happy about a place:D

I had a good experience with them. I ordered replacement tines for my York rake, and when they came they were the wrong ones. they sent the correct ones right away, with no questions asked. I got the replacement tines faster that I would have gotten the original ones from some of the other places I deal with.

I am fortunate enough to live within driving distance (barely, ~60 mi) to the store in garner. Talk about a kid in a candy store... need to go now and get a couple grain gates for my new dump truck.

I had a phone order that went sour. The manager from that store is the one that discovered the problem, called and explained what happened, special ordered the right part, called me back to confirm, then called after I received to make sure all was ok. He gave me his personal cell phone number to call if I had any more problems or questions. IMO, they are an outstanding place to do business with.

Sasquatch4100,

I have that exact link and it has worked very well. Buy all of my plow and rake wear parts from Agri-supply also and have been happy with their service.
If you've never had a hydraulic top link before, you'll wonder how you got along with out it.

Enjoy!

It came as promised! I was a little dissappointed in the packaging and the cylinder had a little paint worn off it, but it was ok. Here's some pics. It only had a very thin layer of extra small bubble wrap on it. Maybe something they should think about in the future.

LOL, yeah the packaging could use some work. I swear the last set of harrow disks I got came in a box that was used for dead chickens (tyson IIRC). At least yours has the company logo on it, looks like they are moving up!

Long as they keep prices down I could not care less about the paint or the box.

I have only placed one internet order from them, a gear box for a brush hog. It came in on the day UPS said it would, the packing was not great, but it was one of those things that was hard to damage. So far I am happy with them.

I've had the same toplink for 2 or 3 years. It's the best thing I ever bought for my tractor.
I live about 30 miles for the store in Greenville NC. It's one of the older stores. It's kinda old, dusty, and dark in spots, just like I like it.
They have a huge yard full of implements, and inside is all kinds of fittings, hardware, chain, rope, cooking items, pumps, sprayers, trailer parts, etc. Anything you would need for the shop, farm, or house.
I've been to the one in Garner, and it just seems too clean or "big box" for me. I always feel like I will find something tucked away in Greenville that someone missed. I can easily spend an hour or so just wandering around in there.
The folks that work there are very helpful. It appears they buy most of the items in bulk. Disc blades, plow points, top links and other heavy items are stored in big wooden crates or stacked on heavy shelves. Since they are not shipping me items, the less packaging there is, the better I like it. Less for me to throw away at the house. (And I really hate those sealed plastic packages that you have to open with a side grinder:), you know the ones. )
