Lookin' out my office window this morning to a heavy frost that looks like snow on the grass. The temperature just dropped to 23.5 from 24.1 as the sun peeks over the horizon. Brrrr! Sure glad the wind isn't blowin'.

Yep, since the wind died down, we got a pretty good frost. 23 degrees officially in Denton when I first got up, but up to 26 already so I expect the sun to warm us up pretty quickly.

Up here it is 48 and the crocus, daffodil, and hardy lily are coming up again.
Grass is green and wet, wet, wet.
The seasons have really shifted over my lifetime. It used to get warm in April and we could plant some garden. Now it gets warm in June if we are lucky
and it's a real gamble to cut hay and get it dry to bale.
Today is first day of gun season for deer and haven't heard a shot.

I have a Whirlpool window unit A/C with heat strip that I installed 6 years ago in my shop/recreation room. And I discovered yesterday that the heat isn't working. So I just now scheduled a service call for tomorrow to see what the problem is.

It's 32 here in Michigan. Might even see the sun today. We sometimes go days at a time that you have no idea where the sun is most of the day, the cloud cover is that heavy.

it was a cool 30 here when i got up this morning in northeast tx.the rye grass is still nice an green with all the lil rains weve had.

I got in at 5am and it was 36 degrees, sure felt colder after being out in it all night. Frost line must have been a tad North of my place and D/FW. Didn't see if it dropped by daylight as I passed out by 5:15:laughing:
