Another vote for Kubota. My neighbor just got a 7040DTC and it is a sweetheart. A little light so get weights now rather than later. Great loader and very rugged. The engine runs like a Swiss watch.
I have owned an M8950, among other Kubotas, and it was an equally fine tractor that used so little fuel I thought the gauge was bad.
Just my two cents.

You forgot the loaded tires, and wheel weights. That should be enough weight to keep the loader off the ground:D.

On my neighbor's 7040DTC, cast rear wheels with one weight each side felt good. Two weights each side would probably feel better.

I bought a 7040 a year ago and I love it. It's been Aces all the way and has done everything I've asked it to without a squawk. Bought it from Farm Country in Sulphur Springs, and it was a pleasure doing business with them.

Dealer suggests euro style FEL and says ez to add adapter... Any suggestions..?
I see most attachments as skid steer style.. Are there any advantages to either?
I will require several attachments for it incl. forks and grapple as well as standard bucket.

My friend got the Euro style loader brackets with a bucket and loves it. Skid steer stuff goes right on.
He did not get a"self leveling" loader but I have one on my Deere 5520 and love it. Most guys do but a few don't. Check it out.
Also, he and I both have cast rear wheel centers and I would get those rather than steel for the weight reasons. In addition, I would get four rear wheel weights total and have the dealer put them on. Weight is good and if you don't like it, take one off. I never knew anyone that got rear weights and ever took any of them off. I have a photo of my Deere setup if you want to see.
See if you can get a price deal on all your filters for the first change, which is important. There are two hyd filters and you will see a lot of small dust metal filings on the magnets when you change them. Kubotas are machined close and the first change of everything is important.
