Cut the top off a 50gl barrel (plastic) and bolt it in your bucket. Cheap (even disposable) alternative. Round top lets you direct the pour way better than flat loader bucket. Works great.

A georgia buggy won't make it to the pad pour. Too steep. My M-7040 is gonna have a tough time getting to it.

If you can see the amount of jobs you would use it with the price of buying it to the price of a rental which you are not responsible for then I'd say go for it. I know I'd rent but depending on how many times you were going to use it. If you've been doing regular concrete contracts since the 80's I would say you are overdue.

Haha. Seems that's the way life always works!

I'm not positive how much you do cement work but from the sounds of it if you could get a good deal on concrete bucket it would seem like a no brainer to me. :thumbsup:

Just got a job with a "remote pour" of concrete (45 K gen set on a remote pad) I get a lot of these jobs and wondered if it isn't time to get a concrete bucket. Would think it would pay for itself in wheelbarrow labor in just a few jobs.
Anyone got one?

That one is much nicer. Has a long snout for precice placement. The one I'm looking at has a hatch that opens in the front that allows concrete to come out.
