I really like the way you've built the barn, nice job on it. I hope to enclose the shed i put on my building next spring. Again, nice job.

Buggyman1,
Thanks. I already have been eyeing my shed getting enclosed and concreted, with another shed beside it.................and extend the roof over the stalls so the Big RED Beast can be under complete cover there if needed, as my I want my 20 gooseneck out of the rain and sun off the tires.
hugs, Brandi

LOL, i planned on keeping my dump trailer under the shed out of the weather, i quickly ran out of room with all the other things stored there, it seems the more room i get, the more toys i accumulate. I remember looking at the bare floor when the concrete was just poured on my shop and thinking, man this may be too big..lol. I've been reading some of your threads, i'm impressed with the work you've done:thumbsup:

Boone,
Been doing the Christmas thing....shopping.....decorating. I did get the Cross up on the barn. I ordered 1/2 inch hardware cloth online and bought a 20 guage pneumatic stapler to cover the two sided 30 foot long ridge vent gaps to keep the leaves out. I need to shop for a local dealer for shop lights and buy them and install, then it will be putting workshop benches and selves in, with a loft over all that. I work four more nights, starting the 19th, then get off on the morning of the 23rd...............then have 11 days off until next year. Yippee...........................gonna be a lot of barn time.:cloud9:
Oh yeah.............bought 5 Mahindra filters online for about $60 less than the local dealer wanted. So I gotta give the Big . RED Beast some TLC. Jealous?:tractor:
I now have a "stray" horse eating my Bermuda and Rye grass. I have seen this horse for a week tied up on an empty lot up the street.:( Now it is loose here and I asked the neighbors of the empty lot who the horse belongs to and they said they don't know.:confused3: So I guess I got a beautiful white horse for Christmas.:confused2: God works in mysterious ways.:)
hugs, Brandi

Rick,
My son calls me Bicki. Don't ask why. But I never have been called Bindi. Since Bindi is the daughter of Steve Erwin, the Croc guy, I take that as a compliment.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
hugs, Brandi

Just yanking your chain a little:). As far as lights go, I went with the T-8's because they are efficient. For most projects they are fine, but when I need more light I use a double halogen stand light. Do as search here and you will find a lot of good info on lighting a shop/barn.
