paguy. Have you ever thought how many support people the President has? How many levels of government, senators, secretary, security staff, keep counting. Come on count them all and then see how much money it is compared to a CEO.

What's missing in this whole discussion so far is the realization and acknowledgement that America has become a Chinese colony. Just like Africa and South America and South East Asia used to be, we are now the suppliers of the raw materials going into the Chinese manufacturing engine and are being forced to buy them back as finished product. Just look through the Craigslist ads for "scrap metal wanted". Iron, steel copper and aluminum are being stripped from our infrastructure by hook or by crook. Siding, gutters, furnaces, water pipes, manhole covers, electrical transformers, old cars, lawn mowers, tractors and anything else metal is now headed to China.
Face it, all your purchases of 'toys' and necessities come back to us via products formerly made here by workers who could afford a home mortgage payment, a college education for their children and a car or truck payment. Now that they have turned in their manufacturing jobs for service sector jobs at 1/2 to 1/3 of their former pay, the whole card house of this economy is about to collapse. Just look around you and count your contributions to this debacle...
I suggest some of you get ready for the world of Mad Max...

Whay you say about your use of American money may be true, but on the other side of the coin during over 30 years of driving truck between our countries, vacationing and traveling in the US or buying good old American goods, never has my Canadian dime, quarter or any paper money been accepted by an American clerk. It still buggers me that China is the US government's biggest debt owner... So Communism right now, has a better future prospect than capitalism ??? This fact embarasses me, it tells me we have wasted the earnings of freedom of speech, religion, election here, and lag behind on them..
That tells me that capitalism has a serious illness. It can only be changed by a strong voice of the voters: Not by current governers which are rusted stuck in the saddle, accepting the status quo in which they keep large companies happy, in return for election campaign funds...
In Europe you see populist parties in allmost every country, and in America the presidential elections are so heavily sponsored by corporations that its allmost impossible for a cancidate to keep his hands clean...
Occupy.... will not change anything, these are the idealists that rather demand financial leveling whilst laying in their tents, than to work for their own money... On both sides of the atlantic, i feel it is time to rejuvenate the democracy, but only the common man can accomplish that.
