MERRY CHRISTMAS
5 Dec. F., bright clear sky and supposed to stay crispy cold .
Last night we attended a gathering up on the Falkland Ridge Rd. with friends great food and a gift exchange. It is a marvolous evening that we look forward to each year.
I hope all of you have good friends and family to spend your holidays with and have a happy new year.

40 F and overcast after a light shower early in the AM. . . first Christmas with my grandson living here. What fun it is to watch a child opening presents and the excitement in their eyes. Merry Christmas one and all.

Good morning!! It's already 38 and sunny out, wife is making bfast now. Really a great day. Going for a walk later, might take some pics to post. Give it a try, anyway.

I missed a couple days, sorry...

Yesterday my middle daughter Played Mary in the Christmas story at Church, she sang solo "The face of God" while holding the baby Jesus and there was not a dry eye in the place. People were amazed, I was so proud...

I wrapped and stuffed stockings until 3am and crashed. The wife hit the hay at about 1am. The kids came and got us up at a little after 7.

We opened gifts, then we went to Church, then we came home and made a salad and headed to Richmond & sis-in-laws house for more presents and good family gathering, they are moving back to Oregon in June because her husbands mom was widowed a few weeks ago (right before Thanksgiving) and he is a good son. we will miss them greatly.

We came home and finished opening presents. I got some cool hand tools and a ton of dark chocolate... It was a very good Christmas.

I hope all of you had at least as good of a day also.

Coffee is brewing. 31 degrees this morning. Heading to 40 cloudy this afternoon. Heading south this morning. Should be a great day for driving.

Forgot to mention yesterday that on Christmas Day in 1982 it hit 65 degrees in Mid-Michigan and I remember a bunch of us guys outside in T-shirts grilling steaks. 37 degrees right now, still unseasonably warm for the month. Not complaining though. Hoping you all enjoyed yourselves yesterday, we certainly did.

Today I will start on the electric fence around the grassy areas to make it a REAL temporary pasture!

I also plan to try to get the new mail box in the ground.

It is 26 degrees F this morning and we got a dusting of snow during the night, less than an inch but things are white.

Same temp as Wayne but windchill hanging around 21F...had more snow on the ground during October than December.
