- Mahindra 5035HST w/loader, J.D.855 w/loader, McCormick CT28H w/FEL
I've asked him which exact model it is. Will post when I find out.
The second valve is for the back. The grapple "kit" comes with everything required for hook up and does not use the 1 rear remote that the Mahindra 5035 comes with. So the $3,995 includes the grapple, whatever remotes the kit comes with, and hooking it all up. That $910 price is for a second rear remote installed.
Still not sure if I really need (the expense of) an extra rear remote. Guess it would save from manually adjusting a boxblade, but setting all that up will sure add extra $$$ pain. Tough call.
Then it's the Industrial tires I will get. Might get a little "interesting" in the deep mud during those times of year (like right now). Overall these will do less damage to the pastures.
On a side note, the New Holland guy has offered a T4030 PS (75HP) for almost the same price as this little Mahindra, minus the grapple & boxblade. Already being over my initial budget, this makes it tempting to go with the much more powerful beast. Waiting to hear back what kind of grapple he has and just how good a deal he can make on it. Only downside is I would need to brush up on shifting, not required with HST. Plus, my body doesn't heal like it once did and ease of use is becoming more and more appealing these days. Still leaning towards the Mahindra.
