What did you do to your tractor today?

Well I gave mine a break today we had a busy day yesterday what with running over my saw and all yesterday.

What I did "to" my tractor... Ran the bloody thing out of fuel again :mur: I really need to replace the crappy kubota fuel gauge #$%^&*

What I did *with* my tractor... Chipped branches till I worn my butt out... getting old sucks. I *need* to do some greasing tomorrow!!!

Changed oil & filter , changed fuel filter & cleaned bowl , greased , and filled with fuel . 1,302 hours .

Started making the new muffler as the gay factory one was rotten

Moved 12 fence posts, augered 7 holes(which quickly filled with water) and put in place some rails. Waiting for ground to freeze to finish repair on fencing. My timing is always off - too wet, too busy etc. Today felt like spring but we had a wind chill of minus 8 celsius.

Will finish on the weekend.

Took the carb off and drained the water out - again. Did it yesterday but forgot about the tank.

Drained the tank - more water!

Put gas in and tried to start it -killed the battery.

Pulled the spark plug - no spark. Tried with another plug - it was good, whew!

Peeled off to town and picked up new plug and a fuel filter. Put them in and now I'm waiting for the battery to charge and my blood pressure to settle down.

I did the hydraulic fluid and filters on my L4400HST today. I drained the fluid into the lower half of a white plastic drum. It was pretty clean looking.
The magnet on the suction side filter was pretty clean too. I used the new USDTII hydraulic fluid. It is noticeably quieter.

I also split a 1.5 inch pipe and welded brackets on it for my FEL so I don't mess up my gravel when I remove snow (if we ever have any).:thumbsup:

My son is visiting from Virginia so HE, stock piled #2 stone, moved 2 logs, graded a couple of high spots in the lawn and moved 20 concrete blocks.
I leaned on the shovel and supervised. It is good to have him and our daughter in law home!
