Nice looking unit!

First I've seen on the forums with a DK90. Be sure to tell us how you like it once you get some more seat time:thumbsup:

a pull type blower is a more efficient method than a front mount or standard 3pt blower.

Thanks for posting the Vids, sure interesting to see how the snow blower works. :)
well, that depends on what your having to blow. For residential driveways i can see a benefit. However i have to clear snow from shedding roofs on 3 separate metal buildings. The snow routinely gets to be 4 feet tall.

There is NO WAY a pull type blower could clear these. Different jobs require different methods.

I actually was considering a pull type blower.

I can lift my loader mounted blower 7 feet in the air to clear the piles.

Ahhh, now I see.

More often than not, our snow is much wetter than what I expect you encounter. If I drive over snow, it compacts like concrete and can raft even the biggest tractor. We need to clear the snow before the tractor goes through it.

Enjoy your DK90!

thats why i posted a vid of our rc100 w/ hydro blower. we use it to blow back piles. the dk90 is a specialized tool for us as it will be used solely for driveways. i have not noticed an issue with compaction and the snow not being able to be cleared off yet. a tractors aux hydro flow is much weaker than our 38gpm 5k psi rc100 and therefore would be pointless for us.

Love the DK90. The pull-type blower is very interesting. Didn't know one like that existed. I learned something today.

They will work in wet snow too because they weigh about 3000-3500 lbs and they have steeply angled cutting edge to cut. You obviously can't work if the snowbank is deeper than what a tractor can drive through so hence the 100 hp tractor on the blower.

3000-3500 lbs, serious weight!
