Kioti Tractor Hours

My Son bought a 2006 DK65 Cab with about 1700 hours. Not sure of prior history. Other than faded paint all seems OK. There was a minor problem with the clutch that seems to have been fixed by changing the hydraulic fluid and filter.

My CK20 will be four years old in 4 weeks. It has 820 hours and I did have to replace a throw out bearing. I love the tractor and even though my nearest dealer is 230 miles away I wanted a Kioti after studying these forrums and coming to the unscientific conclusion that Kioti owners are the happiest.

The little CK-20 is tough as nails and has done over 50 stumps (backhoe dug) and dug foundations, blow snow. It has fork for the bucket and hauled oodles of logs out of the woods by the tree length. It's a treasure to own.

Mine is a 2006 CK25, 460 hours. There were some initial "design bugs": cracked loader, injector pump failure. But, in both cases my dealer and kioti took care of me.

Since, it's been a real work horse: over 1000 tons of fill dirt and CnR moved with loader, 700 feet of fence and pilons dug with PHD, Brush gathered and chipped, Trees pushed over, 100's of yards of mulch and maneur unloaded and spread, boxblading, ditching/crowning, backhoe: several ditches, stumps, a 40 x 5' retaining wall and steps, 40' of 2' culvert pipe installed, boulder and rip rap moving, boiler unloading, tree trimming lift.......

Just shy of 900. Will be 4 years old this coming August.

2011 CK30 HST with Woods Groundbreaker BH-70x and Kioti comfort cab with 107 hrs. Not sure we have time or the computer storage capacity for a full list of issues but I've aired them all on these forums previously anyway.

1) Replaced HST
2) New Starter
3) Hydraulic leak on the FEL (coupler).
4) Stripped bolt on the front wheel.
5) Glow plugs intermittently fail. (not fixed, but currently working)
6) Temperature gauge doesn't work (not fixed yet)
7) Hydraulic leak, likely in the seal that connect both halves of the tractor. Will likely require removing the cab and splitting the tractor again. (not fixed yet)

And then I got the new cab, and the list continues to grow...

8) Floor doesn't fit.
9) Missing parts and features


The 107 hrs have mostly been spent by the dealer trying to fix my tractor :laughing: with some landscaping, drainage digging, material moving and snow removal when my dealer lets me borrow it:laughing:

I'm not sour grapes, facts are facts and this is only a partial list that I can think of off the top of my head. I still love the tractor and hope one day it will chose to live at my house. I will say that unless I have a good 3rd year with it, I will be selling it before the end of my 4 year warranty.

2002 lk3054 just under 500 hrs. snow removal,grading,loader work, wood hauling. it has been a great tractor. only issue i broke the front drive shaft. cant really blame the tractor i was using it very hard that day. $45.00 for a new one so i got two. it took an hour to replace.

Got my CK 27 in Nov have 14rs on it now and just wish it would snow so I can really use it. My luck it will not snow all winter because I got the new tractor. :laughing: LOL Really like just got a ratchet rake for it today. great deal at TSC 72" onsale for 199.99

Hi new member here.Have a ds45 with fel,slasher,phd,.only brought new 6 mths ago got about 150hours(very hard hours)had lots to clean up and refencing after last years floods .only had a problem with engine cut off solenoid,replaced under warranty quickly.very happy withthe machine:thumbsup:

Two Kiotis since may '09, first a DK-35se/HST, traded for a DK-40se/HST in Oct/'10. First had about 350 hours on it when traded. Wanted/needed greater lift capacity of the KL-401 loader. Have been happy with both tractors, have about 300+ hours on the DK-40 since last OCT. and I'm away each summer from July 4th 'till Irene weekend this past year, so that's a few hours in not a lot of months.
See tool list in signature below. Everything listed gets used HARD. Have a Kioti add on edge on the FEL bucket to add additional strength, but I've managed to bend both ends away from flat, from hard use on my driveways, pushing brush piles, stone, gravel, HUGE boulders, etc. Have moved a forest's worth of trees/logs with the winch and grapple.
I've looked at the Bobcat equivalent tractor and in my opinion it is the same chassis but NOT the same tractor. Cheaper fold down one piece seat, and a lot of other things that jumped out at me when I went to a local dealer when looking for a grapple. Can't recall the other items, it was more than a year ago- but I do recall NOT being impressed.

Had a 2009 DK45SEC 150hrs not a single issue except the hst winning noise used mainly used for snow removal, sold because could not justify the cost for around 50hrs/year.
Currently own a 2010 CK30 gear, closing in to 300hrs. This little work horse has been really tried out. I use it for snow removal (home made cab), excavating, log skidding, land scaping, trenching,.. and so on. Have the KL130 FEL, Woods 7 foot box blade, hydraulic winch, KB2475 backhoe, 6 foot FEL snow blade, PHD, Rear 3pt blower...and so on:confused2:
I had 3 issues with the tractor up to now;
- At 67 hrs a minor oil leak at the rear hydraulic valve sandwich. ( O-ring not possitioned correctly when installed at dealer, fixed at home under warranty.)
- At 247hrs front crankshaft oil seal started leaking, nothing major but again fixed at home under warranty.
- I had a problem with the relief valve, can't remember at how many hours, but was covered under warranty, and i had the dealer install a diverter kit on the FEL for my snow plow and crank the fuel pump a little:licking:
Overall i am very satisfied with my kioti tractor, and would buy another. ( Had a JD4200 and NH TC45DA with supersuite cab)
